Okay.. I made my very own diet and I can't stick with it! I have cut back on eating... so that has worked... but I keep forgetting to do my 5 minutes of work outs.. like I'll feel bad so I'll do it for 20 minutes one day.. but then not do it the next day! Oy vey.. I'll get better in time!
I've kind of started weight watchers! We'll see how this goes... my friend lost 11lbs and like some total of 5 inches in like two weeks... so I'm joining the bandwaggon!

How is it going
It's going pretty well. I have been much more conscious of what I am eating and I have kept up with doing my 5 minutes of exercise. I did 5 minutes of sit-ups/crunches yesterday. The day before I focused on my legs and butt and did some stretching to work on my flexibility. I am trying to mix it up so I don't get bored. I think tonight I will do push-ups. I am thinking I will do push-ups every other day so I can tone up my arms because they are really bothering me. Final decision.. so push-ups begin today! Let's see how that goes. Another life change I made... (well beginning today) drinking more water. I brought two bottles of water for lunch today.. and I don't have monies on me so I am forced to drink them... so we'll see if that helps.. plush I am dehydrated so I need it anyways. Alright that's my up-date.
My eating portions are wiser I am doing push-ups every other day and I am going to begin drinking water vs. soda. But just to keep myself up with the water... I can still have sweet tea when we go out to dinner.. because I love love love sweet-tea and well diets aren't fun if there aren't rules to break!! :)

Day Uno...
Okay.. well it's the first day of the so called diet... and well.. I'm doing good so far! I did my first 5 minute work out last night.. I did a couple sit-ups and some stretches.. I'm really wanting to become flexible again.. I miss that! Hmm... also last night for dinner I had a little smaller portion then I would normally have. Baby steps! For breakfast.. instead of extra cream and sugar in my coffee I had it with the amount they normally put in it.. and you know what?? I like it.. also I got normal cream cheese on my bagel instead of extra! So I'm moving in the right direction already I think. Small steps will make a big impact in the long run (or so I keep telling myself!)
Alright... wanted to let you know how my first day of the diet is going! I have my first 15 minute walk (my break) coming up in an hour or so.. wish me luck and good luck to everyone (if anyone) doing this with me!! :)

Okay Here We Go
Are you ready for this wild ride called Dieting?? I'm not really but it's time!
I woke up the other day to get dressed and realized my "fat" pants are close to not fitting me anymore! I have a "gut" and well quite frankly I just don't feel sexy anymore. I feel ashamed of my body and I am embarressed to be naked or even in my bra and panties infront of my fiance. He's been super respectful of everything and understand about my weight gain.. but I know he doesn't find me as sexually appealing as he did 6 months ago!
The first step I took... I got off the Depo Shot which had me gain 35lbs... that's INSANE... and it's all in my gut and it's gross!!!! Second step.. I'm cutting back my eating. I have decided baby steps is the way to go.. and as long as I am not overkilling myself a whole bunch of new rules and everything I will be way more likely to follow this Anti-Diet Diet!! My next plan of action, exercise for 5 minutes a day and increasing each month until I reach either 45 minutes or an hour of exercise each day.
I read an article about a woman who did push-ups for one minute every day and she said after 31 days she was able to do two sets of 15 push-ups with absolutely no problem and lost 7lbs! So that's actually a big inspiration! If I were to lose 7lbs per week then in less then half a year I will have lost the weight I put on from the shot.. and to be honest I think considering I am working on my eating and I will be doing exercise I will hopefully lose more then the 7lbs a month! Another thing I am doing, considering I work in a call center, I am going to walk during each of my 15 minute breaks. So that's an extra 30 minute walk added onto my 5 minutes of exercise! So let's see how it goes!
Oh yea another thing.. I'm not even doing the "healthy" food thing.. literally all I am going to do is cut back on my munching and portion control! For instance I am having a whipped yogurt and one of those Wal-Mart potato soup bowls. I am sure that isn't very healthy.. but it's a controled amount of food so I wont be over eating! Okay... time to begin this Diet, if you can call it that... actually it's more of a life style change.
Just to keep you updated.. I plan on blogging a minimum of once a week.. and then if I have any sort of rough days or really good days I will be sure to note them! Maybe I can even get some people to join me and we can do this together!? Team work people... makes life easier!! :)
Alright... good luck if anyone is doing the same I am... or even to the people who are turning 2009 into a positive sexy year!!
