Okay Here We Go

Are you ready for this wild ride called Dieting?? I'm not really but it's time!

I woke up the other day to get dressed and realized my "fat" pants are close to not fitting me anymore! I have a "gut" and well quite frankly I just don't feel sexy anymore. I feel ashamed of my body and I am embarressed to be naked or even in my bra and panties infront of my fiance. He's been super respectful of everything and understand about my weight gain.. but I know he doesn't find me as sexually appealing as he did 6 months ago!

The first step I took... I got off the Depo Shot which had me gain 35lbs... that's INSANE... and it's all in my gut and it's gross!!!! Second step.. I'm cutting back my eating. I have decided baby steps is the way to go.. and as long as I am not overkilling myself a whole bunch of new rules and everything I will be way more likely to follow this Anti-Diet Diet!! My next plan of action, exercise for 5 minutes a day and increasing each month until I reach either 45 minutes or an hour of exercise each day.

I read an article about a woman who did push-ups for one minute every day and she said after 31 days she was able to do two sets of 15 push-ups with absolutely no problem and lost 7lbs! So that's actually a big inspiration! If I were to lose 7lbs per week then in less then half a year I will have lost the weight I put on from the shot.. and to be honest I think considering I am working on my eating and I will be doing exercise I will hopefully lose more then the 7lbs a month! Another thing I am doing, considering I work in a call center, I am going to walk during each of my 15 minute breaks. So that's an extra 30 minute walk added onto my 5 minutes of exercise! So let's see how it goes!

Oh yea another thing.. I'm not even doing the "healthy" food thing.. literally all I am going to do is cut back on my munching and portion control! For instance I am having a whipped yogurt and one of those Wal-Mart potato soup bowls. I am sure that isn't very healthy.. but it's a controled amount of food so I wont be over eating! Okay... time to begin this Diet, if you can call it that... actually it's more of a life style change.

Just to keep you updated.. I plan on blogging a minimum of once a week.. and then if I have any sort of rough days or really good days I will be sure to note them! Maybe I can even get some people to join me and we can do this together!? Team work people... makes life easier!! :)
